Abstract

Investors, the money is in the capital market or where we want to invest in the hope that the value of our investment will increase in the future. Many people fall into the loop of unfair investments. The demand for Islamic banks in Indonesia is increasing. To reduce and increase investment security, we need to introduce Islamic law which speaks a lot about business principles in the market. This study discusses students' motivation to invest in the Islamic capital market. This research question examines whether certain demographic factors make people more interested in the Islamic capital market. The factors we consider important for investment success are investment education, capital, risk and motivation. This type of research uses a statistical approach that involves analyzing data and adding numbers to reach a conclusion. This study used a sample of 98 students from the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Sharia Business, Islamic State University of North Sumatra. Survey results show that Islamic capital market investors are not interested in capital and risk but have a better understanding of understanding and returns. Student motivation to invest in Islamic capital market in education and investment level.
