Abstract

Sharia insurance is a collective effort by many people/parties to protect and assist one another by investments in the form of assets and/or tabarru, which provides a framework for dealing with specific risks through a sharia-compliant agreement. Sharia insurance encompasses both the financial services industry and the collection of public funds through premium collection. Members of the public who utilize insurance services are also covered against the possibility of a loss due to an unforeseen event or a person's death.
