This study aims to (i) identify various achievements and implement the work agenda of the Irrigation Commission, (ii) assess the institutional effectiveness of the Irrigation Commission, and (ii) recommend improvement of progress towards the Asahan Government Irrigation Commission. Data collection methods used Secondary data with different time frames and strategies were used in this study, including a combination of literature and surveys, complemented by a critical approach. Evaluation of the performance of the Irrigation Committee using a quick assessment method involving three variables, namely organization, secretariat and funding, described in 10 variables with 25 indicators to evaluate the performance of the Irrigation Commission. Preparation and determination of RTTG, RTTD for the planting period 2022 – 2025. The results of the evaluation of the irrigation committee's performance contained 70 points in the medium performance category. The above review explains that a number of obstacles arise in the institutional management of the Irrigation Commission, including the availability of experts and resources in various fields. Implementation of the activities of the Irrigation Committee, funding support for the operations of the Irrigation Committee and the Secretariat is still low.
